Queer Artist Collective Virtual Drag Show 1: Featuring Pussy Noir
In Queerantine TV, DC Drag King, Ricky Rosé, curates and hosts with a focus on their favorite AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth) and POC (Persons of Color) performers. Self-isolation is not suppressing their creativity and you’ll see that in this first episode featuring Leo Amante, Sweet Pickles, Div0id, Ms. Uju Betta, Kunj and Braworst.
Video was shot on the first day of self-quarantine in DC (Tuesday). We shot for 3.5 hours total with edits taking about a day. We had no choreography or plan but Jason (Pussy Noir), Aaron and I have worked together before and were able to improv efficiently. The three of us practiced social distancing and disinfecting practices even though we were working.
